PARENTING FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE IN JULY

You are invited to explore with other parents of children (K – 5th Grade) inspired by the stories and struggles of a parent-peacemaker, how faithful Christians raise children who are committed to the gospel imperative to stand with God’s people who are in need. Come be part of the dialogue on Monday, July 28th, 5-8pm at the Passionist Earth and Spirit Center (behind the Church). We will begin with a free, simple meal at 5pm. At 6:00pm we will offer games and childcare for children, while there is a parent dialogue about modeling and communicating peacemaking values led by Anne Walter, Coordinator of Justice and Peace Issues. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please call Jacki at the parish house (451-2220) with the number/age of participants by Thursday, July 24th.

St. Agnes Class of 1988 20-year reunion

St. Agnes Class of 1988 20-year reunion is being planned for Saturday, July 26th! Have you found yourself wondering how you can take steps to make the world a better place? Have you been overwhelmed with world issues and wished you understood more so you knew what to do? Have you heard something about JustFaith, a process that calls us to change our hearts through small community sharing, reading and discussion? We are working on creating a daytime JustFaith group to begin in the Fall of 2008. Are you interested in knowing more?
