St. Vincent DePaul Society
The parish conference responds to the material needs of persons requesting emergency assistance. Food baskets are distributed to the needy at Christmas. Conference members assist at the Open Hand kitchen of the St. Vincent dePaul Center on the fourth Friday of each month. Members meet monthly to pray and to review clients’ requests and the distribution of funds. Contact Art or Catherine Kopp 458-6601.

Respect Life
This committee works to promote the sanctity of life from conception to death. Members meet monthly to hear speakers and discuss programs. An annual Trivia Night benefits charities chosen by the committee. An essay contest, centered on respect life issues, involves the parish grade school’s seventh and eighth grade classes each year. Highlands Five Parishes
The Highlands parishes of St. Agnes, St. James, St. Raphael, St. Brigid, and St. Francis of Assisi collaborate to provide adult faith formation opportunities. Each parish is represented by its Director of Religious Education.
Highlands Community Ministries
These services include daycare, youth sports, services for low income households, services for elderly, adult day health care, housing for elderly and physically challenged, neighborhood development and interfaith activities. Contact Stan Esterle 451-3695

Repair Affair
New Directions Housing Corporation sponsors this annual event to repair and rehabilitate the homes of low income elderly and disabled persons. St. Agnes provides a crew which is assigned to a specific home in need of repairs. Both skilled and unskilled workers are welcome. Repair Affair is held on a Saturday in June. Justice and Peace (Outreach)
Within this group is the JustFaith group, which works for compassion and justice within our community and world. Monthly discussions cover social injustice topics and projects go out into the communities such as hurricane victims of Biloxi Mississippi. Anne Walter 583-6419 
SENGA
This group welcomes members age fifty-five and older. Meetings are held monthly. A speaker or entertainment is usually featured. Other social activities and travel are offered throughout the year. Bill Butler 451-6103, or Ann Plamp 491-4011
Gardening
Members of this group meet weekly April through November to plant, trim, weed, and water the church, school, and monastery property. Carolyn Pape 451-2220
Quilting

Fish Fries
Fish fries are held at the Parish Center on the Fridays of Lent. Volunteers deal with all facets of the fish fries. Those attending may dine in the cafeteria or carry-outs are available. Contact Rob Dedich 263-8394
Buildings & Grounds
Members of this committee offer their knowledge and expertise to the maintenance staff to insure that all parish property is adequately maintained. Kevin Horn 458-7974
Finance
This committee oversees the ordinary financial operation of the parish. Meeting monthly with the pastor and business manager, it assists in managing the parish budget, advising on investments, and dealing with a variety of monetary matters. Renee Coyne 459-7928.
Stewardship Committee

Pastoral Council
The council assists the Pastor in governing the parish's goals and policies. The Pastoral Council strives to unite the community to each other, the Archdiocese and the Church. They help develop a broad vision for the parish. Membership is for a three year term. Contact Mary Jo Gleason 458-1401
