he Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body to the
pastor/pastoral adminstrator. The Council structure facilitates
cooperation between the pastor/pastoral administrator, staff and
parishioners to define and carry out the parish mission which is
connected to the mission of the universal Church and to that of Jesus
himself.
The Parish Pastoral Council carries out its purpose by setting a vision
for the parish community and then giving direction to the parish
community through diserning God's will for the community, assessing
needs, developing priorities and engaging in pastoral planning. The
Pastoral Council is comprised of twelve members, nine of which are
randomly selected following nomination from the parish at large and
three appointed by the Pastor.
