Please join me in welcoming Fr. Francis Cusack, C.P. back to St. Agnes. He is joining our staff here in the role of Senior Assistant.
Fr. Francis, better known as Fr. Frank, was ordained right here at St. Agnes Church on May 31, 1958. To begin his ministry he was sent to Chicago in August of 1959 and then on to the Retreat House in St. Louis in August of 1960. Fr. Frank made several return trips to Louisville. In 1961 he was 2nd Assistant to Fr. Richard Hughes and Fr. Wilfrid Flannery and from 1987-1991 he served as the Rector of the Passionist Monastery next door. St. Gemma’s in Detroit was his home from 1991-95.
He is ending up where he started off - here at St. Agnes as Senior Assistant. He is very happy about this assignment and is looking forward to serving the people of St. Agnes! And we are very happy to have him here! When you see him give him a warm Louisville welcome.
